It all seems so long ago that it is not real. The odd photo, the little scrap of paper, they don’t seem like a part of my life. They are familiar, they evoke feelings, but how to relate to ourselves across 50 or 60 years?<\/p>\n
Who is this person in the picture: this person with hair. That was so long ago I forget what it is to have hair! And yet, I recognize the photograph and it stirs memory.<\/p>\n
This section of the web site is about my family in the earliest years I can recollect. It is bits and pieces from a time I hardly remember. I think I know as much about my father’s childhood as I do of my own.<\/p>\n
