Summer of 1958 the folks sent me to Europe with the Canadian Youth Hostel Association. It was supposed to be a tour of the British Isles by bicycle lasting 6 weeks. It was almost cancelled because only two people registered for it but the decision was made to proceed with the trip.<\/p>\n

It must have made a big impression on me because 55 years later I remember it clearly and think about it often.<\/p>\n

These images are scanned from Kodachrome color slides which have lain around all these years collecting dirt and dust and fading. I have tried to clean them up a bit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
