Flash Units and Speedlites
Canon flash photography has been around
since the early days of the rangefinder camera.
In those days it was all about flash bulbs,
capacitors and batteries. It was expensive and complicated.
The advent of the gas filled flash tube marked the beginning of automatic flash photography and the Speedlite.
Although these are technically all photographic Accessories this group of artifical lighting devices is extensive enough to deserve their own section in the Library. And it makes the website easier to search for information.

This Booklet was actually a 7″ x 14″ sheet of very thin paper that came folded up in the box with the Canolite D. I have scanned and formatted it as a PDF booklet.
