In August and November we come to the end of the garden for the year. It is sad to see the end of the tomatoes and apples and all the flowers. And it is not the best time for pictures with all the bare ground and grey weather. But we do have our pictures to remind us of the sunny times of summer.

It is Day 184 and the 9th of October. This is a picture from earlier this summer of Daisies in full bloom. I am afraid they are rather beaten down today by the rain. Let us remember them as they were.

Day 183 is the 8th of October. Not every plant is a flower but if you leave most of them long enough you will get a flowers. For instance, these are chives which have been left too long.

Day 185 is October 10th. We looked out our family room patio door a few pictures ago. On the other side of the room is a small window that looks out onto the Patio off the kitchen. The grapes there are all picked and the leaves are turning red. Soon the leaves will be gone and the rain will come.

Day 188 and we are looking back to the spring in the garden. The roses after the rain can be so beautiful. The colors are deeper and the raindrops are like jewels on the petals.

October 12th is Day 187. I love flower blossoms. They are so amazing close up.

Day 189 is 14 October and we are over halfway through the year in Susan’s Garden. She is cleaning up the garden as the beans and tomatoes are over and pulled out. And as she cleaned up this beautiful cabbage was found. It will be on the dinner table sometime this month.

Day 186. This was the grapes a few weeks ago. They are now spread out to dry into raisins and then Susan will make raisin bread and cake. The autumn is not all bad.

The Susan’s Garden Project has been broken into Posts covering only two months of the year each. You can jump to other Sections using the buttons bellow. Well, that supposes those pages have been prepared. If they are yet to be done the buttons will do nothing.
